To support Namesco's ISP and hosting activities

By CBR Staff Writer

IT business systems and managed services company Maxima has signed a new multi-year managed services agreement with Namesco, a domain name and hosting providers within the UK domain sector.

As per the agreement, Maxima’s Support Enablement Services operation will assume responsibility for the provision and management of Namesco’s ADSL platform comprising over 8,500 broadband lines to support Namesco’s ISP and hosting activities.

The Support Enablement Services business unit operates as a single managed services and infrastructure practice, and provides expertise in areas such as hosting, advanced networks, virtualisation, IT security, business continuity and unified network infrastructure and communication services.

Namesco managing director Claudio Corbetta said that the strategic partnership with Maxima enables the company to provide new differentiating services with introduction of several advanced DSL technology features.
