IT business systems and managed services company Maxima has signed a multi-year services framework agreement with Leach Lewis Group, a UK-based construction dealer.

Under the terms of agreement, Maxima’s Business Solutions operation will work closely with a number of Leach Lewis companies, including Leach Lewis Plant and Motivair Compressors, to deliver technology-led offerings.

In addition, Maxima will optimise Leach’s existing investment in its core Microsoft Dynamics AX platform, as well as its own MAXcel service and maintenance software suites, to help the group standardise its MAXcel and Microsoft Dynamics AX implementations across a range of business.

Maxima said that the initial activities will include a group-wide upgrade to a standardised AX 2009 version 1.1 platform, a Dynamics CRM project, an integrated document management approach based around SharePoint, and a specialist PDA integration offering.

Maxima will also support Motivair Compressors and Leach Lewis Plant with a range of consultancy and services expertise to ensure the delivery of offerings across the group’s functional, technical and architectural requirements.

Maxima Business Solutions division MD Paul Adams said, the partnership with the Motivair and Leach Lewis Plant teams will help them secure further operational performance improvements.

"Leach Lewis Group has already made an important strategic investment in Microsoft Dynamics and MAXcel software, and we’ll be helping them to build on this platform to help increase productivity, unlock cost savings and strengthen the company’s competitive positioning over the lifetime of the framework agreement," Adams said.
