The 4M-bit dynamic generation has not yet arrived, but Matsushita Electric Industrial Co is looking to the 16M-bit generation, saying it has a developed a 16M part for the spring of 1991. Matsushita says it has already test-manufactured the 3.6 square inch chip, to be described at the ISSCC show next month.
