MATSUSHITA LAUNCHES UNIX LAPTOP WITH 15″ COLOUR LCD

Matsushita Electric Industrial Co, working with affiliate Solbourne Computer Inc, Longmont, has designed a Unix laptop with a 15 colour thin-film transistor liquid crystal display, which it claims is the largest of its kind in the world. The company hopes to start shipping the Sparc-based portable in May.
