MATSUSHITA ELECTRIC INDUSTRIAL TO EXPAND EUROPEAN MANUFACTURING

No word on what it plans to add to its present product lines, but Matsushita Electric Industrial Co says that it will expand its European manufacturing 13% over the next three years so it accounts for at least 50% of European sales, currently $4,200m; its base in Wales is likely to expand.
