Real-time Unix specialist Masscomp, Massachusetts Computer Corp, has won a contract to supply a US Government agency with its 5000 family of 68020-based machines: the contract is believed to be worth $196m. Although Westford, Massachusetts-based Masscomp says the contract is the biggest in its history, no further details were forthcoming.
