MasPar Computer Corp has announced Version 2.2 of the MasPar Programming Environment: the new version has visualisation capabilities and a Motif-based graphical interface, and there is a link to Application Visualisation System software from Stardent Computer Inc which provides capabilities in visualising program variables; the AVS interface enables programmers to visualise variables in one, two or three dimensions while developing and debugging software on the MP-1; a single concurrent-use licence for MPPE is included with each MP-1 system and extra concurrent-use licences are available; existing customers will receive an automatic upgrade to Version 2.2 at no charge, and production versions of MPPE Version 2.2 ship January 1992.
