MARUBENI TO MARKET THE BERNOULLI BOX IN JAPAN

By CBR Staff Writer

Not much has been heard of struggling Iomega Corp, Orem, Utah of late, but Marubeni Electronics is to market the 5.25 Bernoulli Box hard shell floppy drives in Japan: the $2,700 unit will be available for the NEC PC 9800 series, IBM’s PS/55 Japanese version of the PS/2, and Toshiba’s J3100 lap-top; ships start next month, and Marubeni is hoping to sell 2,000 of the things in the first year.
