MARK FOWLER RESIGNS FROM US FEDERAL COMMUNICATIONS COMMISSION

Mark Fowler, chairman of the US Federal Communications Commission since 1980, has tendered his resignation with effect from sometime in the spring: his reign has seen one of the biggest waves of deregulation in the history of the Commission, and he has generally encouraged relaxation of restrictions.
