Management Technologies Inc, which develops and markets integrated software systems for international banking from its base in New York, will install a ManTecII international banking system for retail use in a new Indonesian bank, Bank Sampoerna International, which will open in July: the contract with the Jakarta bank is Management Tech’s first Indonesian installation since it signed a five-year agency contract in December granting PT Gemawidia Statindo Komputer distribution rights to the product in Indonesia; the software runs on Stratus Computer Inc’s fault-tolerant computers and although primarily used for wholesale banking, the systems have been used for retail banking.
