General Electric’s GE Information Services and Management Science America Inc are expanding their co-operative marketing efforts on Electronic Data Interchange products and services to cover the international market. The partners will provide support for electronic exchange of information between business partners not just in the US but around the world. Since 1986, the joint efforts have led to nearly $2m of applications software business for MSA: its key product is the Expert EDI System, and it says that Pillsbury and Spartan Mills are among the major US firms making electronic data interchange an integral part of their manufacturing and distribution plans using the MSA-Geisco product and service.
