By CBR Staff Writer

Model 204 database system developer Computer Corp of America, part of the Crowntek unit put on the block by its parent Crownx Inc of Toronto (CI No 813) is to be the subject of an attempted management buy-out in the next two months. The management team is talking to a number of companies interested in backing the buy-out but no names have been revealed to date. If negotiations prove successful Computer Corp will revert to being a privately owned, independent US systems software company. Crownx will will continue to operate Crowntek and has established a reserve to fund continued operations until a buyer is found.
