MAKE’s NETMAKER XA ENHANCED TO SUPPORT IBM NWAY SWITCH

Make Systems Inc plans to enhance its NetMaker XA suite of network decision and modelling tools to support IBM Corp’s new 2220 Nways BroadBand Switch. The Windsor, Berkshire-based company is adding a new Nways device library plug-in to its Planner tool, to enable it to simulate the switch accurately. The first of these plug-ins will be developed for the Model 300, 500 and 501 switches, and should be available by the end of the year. The 2220 provides fast packet and Asynchronous Transfer Mode communications based on IBM Corp’s BroadBand Network Services architecture.
