Consulting and IT services provider Mahindra Satyam said its Oracle Practice has signed a contract with OMRAN, the company mandated by the Government of Oman to deliver major projects and manage tourism assets and investments.
As per the contract, Mahindra Satyam in association with its local partner Bahwan IT in Oman will implement key ERP software to help OMRAN’s move towards standardisation and automation across its departments.
The implementation of the ERP system will include offerings across finance, HRMS, payroll and procurement functions to help OMRAN standardise and automate business processes across its units.
The ERP offering will help automate most organisational functions and provide improved business processes for OMRAN, the IT services company said.
OMRAN chief executive officer Eng. Wael bin Ahmed Al Lawati said Mahindra Satyam and Oracle’s offerings will support OMRAN at all levels and will help streamline the various units and enable an orderly growth of our business.
Mahindra Satyam vice president and head of MENA Bobby Gupta said we look forward to helping OMRAN deliver fast, accurate business decisions and provide exceptional value to its numerous employees more effectively.
"We view this win as an opportunity to strengthen our presence in Oman & Middle East and extend our technology and expertise here," Gupta said.
