Madge NV’s San Jose-based Madge Networks Inc said its relationship with IBM Corp was strengthened as IBM chose Madge as one of the participants in its new IBM Personal Computer Server Compatibility Program. The two companies also announced the expansion of a customer support program which applied only for US markets, to IBM’s Canadian customers. The move will enable customers who use Madge’s Smart Ringnode server adaptors to benefit from an added level of interoperability testing for new products from IBM. Both said they have aligned their research and development teams and dedicated marketing and service staff to identify and address interoperability issues.
