MACRO 4 MOVES INTO UNIX WITH PRIMARY SYSTEMS ACQUISITION

Macro 4 Plc, the Crawley, West Sussex IBM Corp mainframe and AS/400 systems and software developer has completed the acquisition of the issued share capital of Primary Systems Ltd for ú2.75m in cash. Primary, based in Maidenhead, Berkshire develops and markets systems administration and management software for Unix systems. Macro 4 chairman Terry Kelly commented, Primary’s proven Unix products products are totally complementary to those which we currently offer the mainframe and AS/400 user.
