LSI’s G2 PROMISES EISA CHIP

LSI Logic Corp spinout G-2 Inc in Milpitas, California is promising the GC171 EISA chip set for first quarter 1989. It will be a modified version of its Micro Channel set unveiled in July and will support the 80386 at 25MHz and 33MHz when the latter is available. Samples March, volume soon after, BIOS will be bundled; $120 for 1,000-up.
