Cambridge, Massachusetts-based Lotus Development Corp is shipping Lotus Organizer 1.0, its latest Windows personal information manager: it combines the look-and-feel of a physical organiser with the Windows graphical computing environment; it enables users to mail a portion of their Organizer file electronically via cc:Mail or Notes and users are notified of incoming cc:Mail and Notes mail; it is available in the US for $150 and Agenda 2.0 users can move to Lotus Organizer for $70; international English, German, French, Italian and Spanish versions will be available in September; Lotus Organizer runs on IBM personal computers and compatibles under Windows on an 80286-based system and it requires 3Mb of hard disk, a VGA monitor and mouse.
