Lotus Development Corp launched its intranet starter pack at the UK’s Networks 97 show this week. The groupware software enables the set up, use and maintenance of an intranet. The core of the software is the Lotus Domino Web Server, that runs under NT 3.51 or 4.0 and includes electronic mail, calendar, workflow and document management features. The client interface is a Web browser or the Lotus Notes Desktop. The starter pack is marketed at small to medium sized businesses and is shipping now through Lotus re-sellers with a five user license for about $1,500.
