Lotus Development Corp of Cambridge, Massachusetts has decided that it now longer wants the One Source Division it laboriously built up by making several acquisitions to become a force in the delivery and means of delivery of business and financial data on compact disk. The business is going in a management buyout backed by Information Partners of Boston and William Blair Venture Partners of Chicago. Lotus will retain a minority stake in the new company, but other terms of the transaction were not disclosed. The business re-emerges under its new ownership as OneSource Information Services Inc.
