LOTUS GOES TO IBM FOR NEW VICEPRESIDENT OF THE SOFTWARE PRODUCTS GROUP

But isn’t that a bit like hiring an arsonist to be the new fire chief? Charles Digate, in charge of the 123.3 development project resigned a week or two back, and Lotus has gone to IBM which has a less than spotless reputation for bringing big software projects in on time – to be his successor: W Frank King III (do they allow names like that at IBM?) moves in as senior vicepresident of the software products group from his post as vicepresident, development at IBM’s PC group.
