LOTUS DEVELOPMENT ADDS NEW DEVICE DRIVERS FOR FREELANCE PLUS

By CBR Staff Writer

Lotus Development Corp has added a string of new device drivers for its Freelance Plus business graphics creation program: they are for the Apple Laserwriter laser printer, Epson LQ-800 and LQ-1000 matrix printers, the forthcoming Hewlett-Packard PaintJet colour ink jet printer due on August 1 and previewed here in March when it bore the unfortunate name of Squirt (CI No 637), and the CalComp ColorMaster plotter-printer; other device drivers available on the drivers disk include a new Hewlett-Packard LaserJet driver providing 300-dots-per-inch resolution, the IBM Proprinter XL matrix printer, the Xerox 4020 colour ink jet printer, and the Matrix MVP film recorder – all on one $20 disk.
