Lotus Development Corp says that it is now shipping Lotus cc:Mail Link to Message Handling System 2.0, which is its gateway designed to connect its cc:Mail system to Novell Inc NetWare Message Handling System-based electronic mail systems. The new release is claimed to include support for Novell’s two latest messaging formats – SMF-70 and SMF-71 – as well as a new SmartAddresing feature that is said to match names in cc:Mail post offices with incoming and outgoing Message Handling System messages automatically. Finally, the Cambridge, Massachusetts-based company revealed that it has also added an interactive configuration utility to assist network administrators with installation. The new version is to cost UKP535.
