Lotus Development Corp says that it is comfortable with analysts’ forecasts of net profit for the first quarter up over 25% to between 38 and 40 cents a share on sales up some 30% to $110m, and suggests that results for the full year are likely to be less affected by the delay in shipping 1-2-3 release 3 than analysts fear – big corporate customers have said they are prepared to wait rather than go elsewhere, according to the company.
