LOTUS CHOOSES CENTERSTAGE WEB SOFTWARE

By CBR Staff Writer

Lotus Development Corp has said it will use OnDisplay Inc’s CenterStage web integration software in its NotesPump data distribution server. CenterStage was launched in March and is said to enable data from anywhere on the web to be precisely accessed, extracted and categorized before being integrated with business applications for processing, analyzing and manipulating. San Ramon, California-based OnDisplay says its product overcomes the restrictions placed by HTML on the usefulness of web data for businesses, being built on OnDisplay’s patent pending PageAgent technology. OnDisplay says CenterStage can be used for applications such as purchasing, enabling automatic extraction of relevant pricing and availability of goods or items from any number of distributors’ web sites. CenterStage will be used in version 2.5 of the IBM Corp subsidiary’s NotesPump.
