Logitech has launched Wireless Desktop MK700, a new kit comprising of a keyboard and mouse. The company said that both the mouse and keyboard feature its 2.4 GHz wireless technology that virtually eliminates delays and dropouts.

The new desktop kit is compatible with Windows-based PC (Windows XP, Windows Vista or Windows 7). The battery life is reportedly up to three years for the keyboard and 12 months for the mouse.

The company said that the low-profile keyboard features concave Logitech Incurve keys that position the users’ fingers properly and has rounded edges that allow fingertips to glide from key to key.

According to the company, an integrated LCD dashboard keeps the user in touch with the status of keyboard functions including battery status, caps lock, scroll lock, num lock and mute. The mouse has scroll wheel that offers both hyper-fast and precise click-to-click scrolling.

Logitech Wireless Desktop MK700 is expected to be available in the US this month for a retail price of $99.99.
