LOGICA WINS UKP3M OF AN UKP11M BRITISH AEROSPACE CONTRACT

Logica Plc has won UKP3m of an UKP11m British Aerospace contract from the British National Space Centre for the United Kingdom Earth Observation Data Centre: Logica will develop software under the aegis of Software Sciences for the Centre’s radar altimeter, wind scatterometer, image processing facility, and communications networking service; the Data Centre, to be located at Farnborough, will process, archive and distribute data from Europe’s remote sensing satellite ERS-1, which is due to go up next year.
