LOGICA PLC SAYS LMSA PROVIDES MEANS OF IMPLEMENTING HIGH LEVELS OF SECURITY WITHIN FINANCIAL SYSTEMS

By CBR Staff Writer

Logica Plc says that its Modular Security Architecture, LMSA, provides a means of implementing high levels of security within existing or new financial systems: it is designed as a library of software modules and each has a defined security function which conforms to a commom systems architecture; specific modules are linked together to provide security for applications that may have been developed on different manufacturers’ equipment; the library also interfaces to other security products, and it operates on the principle of distributed secure nodes in network running the LMSA software; the sec-urity management functions are pro-vided at node and network level.
