Business and technology service company Logica has released ‘Fusion Factory,’ a new platform-as-a-service (PaaS) application designed to bring bespoke application development projects to market faster.

Fusion Factory is based on Oracle Fusion Middleware as well as Oracle SOA Suite 11g while the platform runs on the Logica Private Cloud (LPC) or on the customer’s infrastructure.

The structure aligns with Logica’s reference architecture for SOA, maintained by the Global SOA Tech Practice that aligns with Logica’s framework for SOA development and governance.

Customers can now work directly with Logica’s Fusion Factory experts to bring business applications to market in days, rather than weeks.

The pre-tested, pre-integrated middleware PaaS will enable companies to start developing business applications without configuring and integrating the various middleware elements and development frameworks required with other applications.

Oracle EMEA Technology senior vice-president Andrew Sutherland said, "Logica Fusion Factory can help customers rapidly implement Oracle SOA Suite and Oracle Fusion Middleware, enabling them to deploy solutions faster and gain a competitive edge."
