Business and technology service company Logica is collaborating with Tibco Software to bring out a new financial messaging solution based on its network independent messaging platform Fastwire Open.
The partnership addresses the requirements of large financial firms with multiple existing Swift interfaces that handle high volumes of messages and are currently fraught with disparate legacy systems.
The collaboration combines Logica’s Fastwire Open hub with Tibco’s business integration and messaging middleware technology, Tibco ActiveMatrix BusinessWorks, and Tibco Enterprise Message Service.
The new offering is easy to integrate with existing back office systems and is scalable, capable of handling over five million SwiftNet FIN MT or MX messages per day.
The platform offers value-added services such as comprehensive transaction auditing, monitoring, and reporting capabilities.
Logica Global Products Business market development director Tim Brew said their joint offering enables global banks to consolidate multiple legacy systems into a modern and flexible architecture that caters for their future business growth.
Tibco Software EMEA SVP Fabio Pulidori said their existing customers will now be able to benefit from a financial messaging solution that features a direct gateway to Swift.
