Logica, a business and technology service company, has appointed Josh Strasner as chief executive officer for its operations in North America. He will be responsible for the company’s business in the US, Canada, Mexico and the Caribbean.
Strasner joined Logica in March 2008 as senior vice-presidnet of Sales and Marketing, and since January 2010, he served as interim chief executive officer for Logica in North America.
Previously, Strasner served in a variety of roles at EDS and BearingPoint, where he specialised in trans-national operations, and was instrumental in solving business problems and improve operational efficiencies through global outsourcing, process improvement, and management consulting.
Logica Global Operations and International CEO Serge Dubrana said that Josh brings more than 25 years of experience in the IT service industry and has earned a reputation as a driven and respected leader.
"I am confident under his leadership we will continue to build on the strong foundation we have established in North America," Dubrana said.
