LiveViewGPS, a GPS tracking company, has launched a new Android phone application which is expected to enable users with LiveTrac series GPS trackers to track their devices in real time.

According to the company, users can keep tabs on their automobiles, watches, laptops, and even children and elderly relatives via their Droid phones by using Droid GPS car tracking app.

The application works with all LiveTrac series GPS systems, including LiveTrac PT-10 GPS Tracker, LiveTrac PT-10, Professional GPS Tracker, LiveTrac RTV5 Vehicle Tracker and LiveTrac RTV10 Nav Tracker, the company said.

It added, the application includes the standard features of the LiveViewGPS web-based software, as well as additional real-time fleet tracking capabilities.

The technology is claimed to offer the ability to track multiple GPS systems and monitor employees.

The company claims for personal vehicle tracking use, users will be able to view the exact location as well as see their vehicle’s speed and direction of travel.

LiveViewGPS representative said the company was pleased to add yet another platform to their comprehensive offering of smartphone GPS tracking applications.

"In addition to our new Android app we also have an iPhone GPS application and a BlackBerry GPS tracking system," said the representative.
