LINEAR FILES PATENT SUITS AGAINST COMPETITORS

Linear Technology Corp has filed patent infringement suits against Analog Devices, Maxim Integrated Products Inc, Impala linear Corp, Unitrode Corp and Toyoda Automatic Loom Works Ltd. The Milpitas, California analog-circuits manufacturer claims that its switching regulator patent, primarily used in laptop systems, has been infringed by the five competitors.
