By CBR Staff Writer

San Mateo, California-based NeXTstep developer Lighthouse Design Ltd is preparing the latest version of its ObjectPlan analysis and design tools for OpenStep and NeXTstep, which it will ship in the second quarter of next year, including Booch, Rumbaugh, use case and entity-relationship modelling extensions to its existing Diagram! design product. As well as graphical analysis and design, the new ObjectPlan will provide code generation and reverse engineering features. Integration with NeXT Computer Inc’s ProjectBuilder and SunSoft Inc’s Distributed Objects Everywhere will follow. The company is now also shipping version 2.0 of its OmniWeb Web browser for NeXTstep, capable of viewing documents stored in Adobe Systems Inc’s Portable Document Format, and release 2.0 of its Quantrix multidimensional spreadsheet.
