Burlington, Massachusetts-based Lightbridge said it now expects revenue in the fourth quarter to December 31 to be in the range of $30 million to $32 million, down on its previous estimate of $32 million to $34 million. It forecast a loss of between $0.02 and $0.08 a share compared with the original forecast of $0.00 to $0.04.
Lightbridge handled AT&T Wireless’s customer activation operations and these will now move to Cingular’s in-house system. Total revenue from AT&T Wireless was $16.6 million in the nine months to September 30, 17% of the total, and cutbacks are inevitable as Lightbridge plans to align expenses with revenue.
