MatrixOne’s product lifecycle management (PLM) environment will aim to streamline product design and development across LifeScan Scotland’s global operations, enabling the company to quickly and cost-effectively bring new products to market.
Michael Crowe, managing director, LifeScan Scotland, said he expects the implementation to cut the company’s product development cycle by 20%. He added: In addition, we can drive improved customer satisfaction, integrate our suppliers into the development process, improve our visibility to our design centers throughout the world, and have easy access to all vital product information.
MatrixOne’s software will also be employed to facilitate regulatory compliance.
The PLM deployment at LifeScan incorporates MatrixOne Program Central, an application designed to enable companies to efficiently manage complex programs and projects.
