LG Electronics MobileComm has expanded its product lineup with the launch of LG X120 netbook in the US market through AT&T.
The new netbook weighs around 2.8lbs and is equipped with Smart On interface and built-in AT&T 3G wireless connectivity. Designed with a sleek white matte exterior and blue trim, the X120 enables users to use internet, update blogs and download music from 3G network, the company said.
According to LG, the netbook features 1GB RAM,160GB hard drive, 10.1-inch screen with LED backlighting and built-in 1.3 megapixel camera with HD stereo speakers. In addition, it includes a start up feature for booting the Windows XP operating system that allows users to build a basic presentation on professionally based applications. The 3G HSDPA provides on the go connectivity giving users instant access to the tools required.
Ehtisham Rabbani, vice president of product strategy and marketing for LG Mobile Phones, said: We created the LG X120 to allow consumers to stay connected on their own terms. The Smart On button puts consumers seconds away from the fun stuff such as showing off your vacation photos or picking your fantasy football line-up.
The LG netbook will be available at select Radio Shack stores nationwide and online for $179.99 with a 2-year AT&T DataConnect service agreement, a $60 monthly 5GB plan.
