LG G Watch could get a July 7 UK release date

Possible specs leaked for Android Wear smartwatch.

By Ben Sullivan

A specifications sheet purporting to detail information about the forthcoming G Watch from LG has been leaked.

The specs, courtesy of not-yet-famous Tweeter @UpLeaks shows the Google Android Wear-powered wearable could feature a 1.6-inch 280 x 280 screen, 4GB of storage and a 400mAh battery. This would give the watch around 1 and a half days of average usage, and a less than 2 hour charge time.

Adding to the rumour mill, MoDaCo has calimed that the watch could get a UK release date of July 7. The watch is said to get an RRP lower than Samsung’s Gear 2 Neo which is £169.99.

LG’s G Watch will be officially unveiled at Google’s I/O conference in San Francisco later this month.
