LexisNexis has announced the acquisition of Moreover Technologies, a content delivery and media management service. This acquisition will provide LexisNexis the opportunity to offer law firms and government institutions the analytical tools to aggregate, monitor and analyse large volumes of news, legal and social media data in order to understand trends.
In 2015, the two firms’ technologies will be combined to create LexisNexis Newsdesk, a ‘current awareness’ solution. The solution will offer professionals a comprehensive suite of news, web content, business information, social media and broadcast media in addition to powerful delivery, integration and analytical capabilities.
