Lenovo has expanded its Think-branded products with the launch of three new ThinkPad X201 and X201s laptops, X201 tablet, W701 and W701ds mobile workstations and a ThinkServer TS200v tower server with management capabilities.
According to Lenovo, the new ThinkPad X201 comes with Intel’s normal volt Core Processors, long battery life with up to 11hrs, over three gigahertz performance and weighs under three pounds. The X201s weighs in at under 2.5 pounds and achieves over 12hrs of battery life.
The ThinkPad X201 tablet features 12.1-inch capacitive multitouch screen with a touch-based hardware interface and SimpleTap navigation application; Microsoft Windows 7 business operating system; new Intel Core processors; WiMAX, 3G, WiFi, bluetooth and gigabit ethernet connectivity; and expandability with up to 8GB memory, multiple USB ports. It offers multitasking capability with flash and Java support.
The ThinkPads W Series mobile workstations pair Intel Core i7 Series processors with Nvidia Quadro FX 2800 and 3800 Series GPUs, and features an optional built-in WACOM digitiser.
Designed as an entry single processor server, the ThinkServer TS200v includes Intel Active Management Technology for remote management; memory error correction and built-in RAID protection. ThinkServer TS200v models start under $500 for small businesses, corporate branch offices and managed service providers (MSP).

The ThinkPad X201, X201s, X201 tablet, W701 and W701ds pricing starts at approximately $1,199, $1,599, $1,549, $2,199 and $3,799, respectively. ThinkPad and ThinkServer are expected to be available in March 2010.
