Lenovo has unveiled its first Android laptop, the Lenovo A10.
The new model is a dual-mode laptop, powered by Android 4.2 OS and is claimed to offer a better user experience for entertainment and web browsing.
Lenovo notebook VP Bai Peng said: "With the recent explosive growth in Android-based, smart connected devices, customers are relying more on Android apps for both work and play. Why should they be required to switch and duplicate to use their laptop?
"Lenovo’s A10 brings ultra-portability and dual-mode benefits to Android users at a reasonable price."
The new device comes with a 10.1-inch HD screen with 1366 x 768 resolution that can be flipped around by 300 degrees.
The laptop is powered by an RK3188 quad-core Cortex-A9 processor clocked at a maximum frequency of 1.6GHz, claimed to be the highest frequency for all quad-core ARM-based CPUs currently available.
