Lenovo has introduced three new workstations, ThinkStation S30, C30 and D30 which come with the Intel Xeon E5 processors that improve productivity and reliability.

The new ThinkStations have been upgraded with new functionally and design, while delivering an application that meets the heavy computing demands of professionals in computer-aided design (CAD) and engineering, film and animation, financial services and healthcare.

Lenovo’s new products will deliver fast memory and enhanced energy-efficiency, said the company.

The new workstations also offer up to 90% power efficiency, Energy Star 5.2 certification and are designed with up to 65% recycled materials.

The new systems are fabricated to deliver improved performance and speed and also improve multi-tasking among professionals by increasing memory performance.

ThinkStation S30, C30 and D30 will include the choices of the latest Intel Xeon E5 1600/2600 processors for faster multi-core processing and NVIDIA Quadro graphics cards and Maximus support utilising NVIDIA Telsa compute cards.

Lenovo’s new ThinkStations is also said to deliver faster performance with support for up to 256GB 1600MHz DDR3 memory and 10X faster transfer rates with USB 3.0.

ThinkStation C30 is designed for those in financial services, CAD and digital content creators, while D30 is designed for those with intense computing challenges and needs, from 3D product design and animation to number crunching and software development.

Performance on the ThinkStation S30 is optimised for top ISV applications and includes faster transfer rates.
