Computer Associates International Inc will integrate Legent Corp’s Paradigm, Agentworks, Paramount, Extended Processing Environment distributed systems management products and other storage management systems into its CA-Unicenter system management suite, according to Yogesh Gupta, senior vice-president of product strategy. XPE’s distributed systems management technology, however faint in comparison with its associated marketing campaign, will also be integrated into unspecified Computer Associates environments, Gupta said. He declined to say where it will be found. Additionally, some of Legent’s data extraction technologies will be integrated into CA-OpenIngres. Plans for the technologies are to be made public in roughly six weeks’ time, said Gupta.
