LaserCom (UK) Ltd, a distributor and integrator of billing presentment systems with HQ in Cookham, England, has implemented the I-Telco platform from BlueGill Technologies Inc for UK telco Cable & Wireless Communications Plc (CWC).
The BlueGill product is being used by CWCÆs Business Team division on its Callink services, comprising 0800, 0900 and other specially prefixed numbers. It enables the service providers to check their bills and outpayment reports.
Ann Arbor, Michigan-based BlueGill opened a European office in London last month in an effort to increase its sales in that market. Besides LaserCom, it has distribution partnerships with IBM Corp, EDS Corp and Xerox Corp.
