Markham, Onatario-based terminal manufacturer Lanpar Technologies Inc claims it can now offer an affordable alternative to the DEC VT330 with the launch of its Max 331 compatible terminal: first in a proposed series of products, the terminal offers all the widely-used features – including full graphics support – of the DEC original, but will be sold for around 70% of its price; the company has signed a UK distribution agreement for the VDU out this month at UKP995 – with Sintrom Electronics Plc of Reading.
