LANDING THE ISLE DE FRANCE – CHILD’S PLAY

By CBR Staff Writer

Landing the Isle de France must have been child’s play compared with trying to run a leviathon like IBM, but the guys at the top really should have realised that – as is shown by an internal memo leaked to Computer Marketing Newsletter – when the company instituted its early retirement programme in the US, all the really valuable guys would take the company’s money and start circulating their CVs, while the dead wood would reason that IBM since never sacked anybody so they were much better off staying put.
