Dublin-based Lake Communications Ltd is a private company once more following a decision by the Landys & Gyr Communications arm of the Swiss telephone equipment company Landys & Gyr AG to shed its non-core activities to concentrate on its public and private pay-phone systems. Lake has separated from Landys in a management buyout on undisclosed terms, and its focus on the design, development and marketing of small business telephone systems will not change. It will also continue to market its former parent’s pay-phones, and also Nokia Oy equipment on the Irish market. The company sees big opportunities from Integrated Services Digital Networking.
