L M Ericsson Telefon AB has orders totalling $220m from Mexico and Venezuela: two Mexican concerns, Telmex and Telnor have ordered AXE digital exchanges and other equipment totalling $154m, most of it from the local affiliate Telindustria Ericsson SA; Cantav, the Venezuelan telephone authority, gave Ericsson contracts totalling $66m.
