KUWAIT TO PRIVATIZE TELECOMS SECTOR

Kuwait, which first mooted the idea of turning the Communications Ministry into a Kuwait telecommunications company in 1992, says it still wants to privatize its telecommunications according to al-Seyassah, and a bill is expected to be introduced this year. The government will retain a stake and the firm may take aboard a foreign partner.
