KOREAN INDUSTRIALISTS ASK US COMPANIES TO JOIN CONSORTIUM

Korean industrialists have asked US companies AirTouch Communications Inc, Southwestern Bell Corp, Qualcomm Inc and GTE Corp to join a consortium to set up Korea’s second cellular phone network; the network has been valued at up to $5,000m.
